Someone is killing street gang members in the North of Glasgow.

With 4 murders in 7 weeks and not a single lead into what is going on Police Scotland are getting desperate and reach out to the Daily Post newspaper for help knowing that the newspaper employs Calum McCulkin, son of the deceased but still highly regarded criminal godfather Donald McCulkin, and a man described as having razor sharp insights and as being a “walking encyclopedia of crime in the West of Scotland”.

Calum is paired up with Sarah Gibb, a talented researcher, and they are tasked with investigating the murders in the hope that between Calum’s contacts and the respect on the street for the McCulkin family name people that know what is going on will open up to them in a way that they would never open up to the authorities.
